Managed to complete the first and last items on my to do list straight away. The others have taken a bit longer or are still on the list waiting to have a line put through it!

Have made some lovely cards using my new basic grey papers. Photos to follow.

New on line shop

Just a quick post to tell you about a cyber friend of mine who has just set up her new on line shop. I have tried to put a link but I am obviously doing something wrong. When I get a few minutes I will try again. Anyway if you search for Sassy Crafts you should find it.

I am off work for the next 2 weeks so I am hoping to get a few projects finished.
Things to do:
  • Eat chocolate. (That should always be on the top of your to do list and then you will always acheive at least one thing on it)!!
  • Finish making shopping bags.
  • Make small drawstring bags ready for the shoe box gift boxes in December.
  • Make more cards.
  • Paint wooden signs.
  • Make wall hangings using up some of my vast amount of fabric.
  • Go to Bath and restock on fabric!!

Just thought I would add a few lines to update my blog. Mum has just sent me some new tape runner refills as my local craft shop has stopped stocking them (and has gone for some that are more expensive)! She got them from Tragos in Falmouth. The place is being tarted up and the craft section has expanded. Dad is very worried that if I go and visit them and pop in there, they will never see me again.

I have spent the morning doing my favourite thing if I am not actually doing anything crafty myself which is blog hopping. I love this site, http://craftystorage.blogspot.com/. There are loads of wonderful photos and links to other peoples blogs which link to other blogs etc... Anyway, it has given my some more ideas to make my little creative space more practical whilst still looking pretty.

These are the photos of what my darling husband arrived back from the States with for me. Life has been so busy for us that I haven't had a proper play with anything though the 2 magazines are very well read. We have just finished (about 10 minutes ago) decorating the kitchen. Looks gorgeous. I have de-cluttered and the pale green really makes it light and airy. Hope everyone had a very enjoyable Easter. I have to say thank you to our eldest son for phoning yesterday (very early) to say he had snow. Just a big kid at heart!

Not much to report this week. I have been browsing the internet trying to find craft bargains for my husband to buy me when he pops over to America next week. I have just persuaded him he needs the bigger case!! The kids have also made shopping lists. The youngest wants a particular skateboard and the eldest wants a waitress from Hooters! I'd like to see my OH explain that at customs.

I won a prize last week on the just bex site. It is being posted soon so when I get it I will add a photo.

Happy Mothering Sunday to all mums. Mine has received a copy of the new Katie Fforde book signed by the author who I met on Wednesday. It was a wonderful evening and she was a delightful woman who spent a little time with everyone as she signed both old and new books. Even though it was getting late she didn't seem in a hurry to rush the queue.

My children bought me a DVD of a film I know nothing about and a book that I have been dropping hints about for 2 weeks. (Pink post it notes all over the house seemed to do the trick). It is the new Sophie Kinsella book - Remember me. I have slobbed about the house all day glued to each page and finished it just before tea. What a wonderful book which I have enjoyed from beginning to end.
