Cards using stickers

I bought some stickers quite a while ago and decided I would try and make some cards with them. I still have some stickers left.

On the boat

Rosie and Jim...Rosie and Jim...come on sing along. We had a fantastic holiday on the Llangollen canal. Bit scary along the aqueduct.

This is what my dining room and living room looked like yesterday when some of my friends came over for a crafting session.

A very hot curry!

What a busy weekend so far. On Friday I went out for lunch with my crafty friend Anne. I did get a great photo of her at the garden centre but promised not to put it on here!! We then went for a walk around Lacock. It was really lovely and we saw a couple coming out of the church all loved up and newly married. I do think they may look at the photos in years to come and ask 'What the...' when they see what some people were wearing!

Yesterday hubby and I went for a bike ride of 9 miles. We beat the time we set last week which was amazing as it was very breezy and I struggled at times.

Then we went down to Bristol on the train to the Harbour festival. The food and drink was extortionate but all the entertainment was brilliant and it is a free event.

Just thought I would put a link to one of my favourite sites so you can see some scrummy pics from the CHA show.

Cherry picking

What do you do with tons of cherries? First you pick them, then you stone them and then you make them into pies and crumbles. After that you put them in bags and give them to the neighbours. I would like to say that this is what I did all day yesterday but that would be a fib. Darling hubby and youngest son spent most of the day up the tree or in the garden. Then they made a scrummy crumble and sorted the rest so we could freeze them or give them away. We need to clear the tree before the starlings come and vandalise it. Last year we still had loads of cherries and about 100 starlings flew into the tree. You couldn't see a single bird but it was shaking as they pulled all the cherries off.
