Well, I am finally getting sorted here in Plymouth.  I managed to get a transfer to the Plymstock branch of Morrisons so I have a few hours work each week. 

The weather has been so wet we haven't done much exploring.  I did go swimming in the sea last week when we had about 3 hours of summer!! 

Plymouth seems to have a full schedule of events.  So far I have attended a car show on the Hoe, watched some fantastic fireworks and sampled some great food at the Flavour festival.  I may have purchased a Christmas present of two.  I loved the cocktail tent!

Sorry for not keeping this blog up to date but my life has been very hectic. I have moved from Chippenham to Plymouth last weekend though all my furniture went a few weeks before. My craft stuff is still in boxes so haven't done much. I did go to the Newbury show and did a workshop with Barbara Gray. What a laugh. I'm looking forward to getting the brayer out.

Just a quick post to let you know I am still alive.  I have been doing a few craft things but I don't know how to get the photos off my blackberry playbook.  I think I might have a lead somewhere to link it to the laptop but it has probably been packed.

Mothering Sunday

I had a lovely visit from my eldest son bearing gifts and a phone call from the youngest. (The pressies were from both of them). Thanks boys. I love you and am proud to be your mum.

Bacon Roses!!! I saw these on Pinterest last year and thought they would make the best present for hubby on Valentines day. The little gift was a packet of Gaviscon.

Christmas secret santa present.

As I have said before, once a month there is a crop near Weston-Super-Mare that I try to go to. Each Christmas we have a secret santa present swap. For Christmas 2010 I received a beautiful vintage style sewing kit. Last Christmas I got a button box that goes with it perfectly. It contained a selection of bought buttons, some homemade buttons and best of all, chocolate buttons! (They aren't in the tin anymore).
