This is the card I made using the 'from the herd' stamp from Stampin up. The letters are cut with a sizzix die set.

New home for our boat
We have moved our little boat out of our friends barn (where it has been having a holiday for 18 months) and it now has a new home near Truro.

Garden visitors
A few weeks ago we saw this pair waddling down the road. Then one evening they turned up in our garden. Really cute.

Just sharing a few things I have been making
This is the card I made for my Dad for his birthday.
(When he was a little boy and worried about anything, he would go to sleep thinking of circuses).
Pink, glitter, cake, ice cream. The only thing missing is pom poms!!
This one was Auntie Donna's card.

Hot Air Ballooning
We have been trying to go ballooning for a while but every time we booked it, it was cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Anyway, finally the weather was perfect and last Wednesday we managed to soar above the countryside north of Tiverton.
The lovely pilot, Richard, took some photos on a go pro suspended from the balloon and this is one them.

New home card
I bought the window die from SU a couple of weeks ago and was itching to use it. It was perfect for a new home card I wanted to make. I created the bricks using one of the stencils I bought in Exeter and then layered up the window to make it look like curtains. The images came from a craft magazine I have had for ages and didn't want to use because they were so pretty. Anyway I have forced myself to stop keeping stuff to stroke and am now actually getting things out and using them. It is quite satisfying.
Where does the time go?
I can't believe how long it has been since I last shared anything here!
We are still busy with village life. Last weekend there was a charity night in the pub. It raised over £2,400 for a local hospital. The theme was 60's, 70's and 80's. The music was fantastic and everyone looked fabulous dressed up.
I have said I will help out with a craft afternoon which is being run to raise money for the playing field. I have made up a few projects for the children and grown ups to make. Fingers crossed it will go well. The playing field has a lovely wooden activity set but needs repairing and they are hoping to install gym type equipment for us older residents to use.
