Dales cake

 

Dale spends a lot of time climbing so I thought I would make him a climbing cake.  In an episode of The Big Bang Theory, one of the characters (Sheldon) faints when he is on a climbing wall so I made a little Sheldon in his Flash t-shirt.  He is on the other side of the cake but I didn't take a picture of that side.  Whoops!!  Any way he was really pleased with it.

Dales birthday

This is the card I made for our little boy who is now 20.  (He still sleeps in like a teenager).  Earlier this year he was pratting about on a skateboard and ended up in A&E for 4 hours.  Luckily he didn't break anything but spent a few weeks on crutches because of the pulled ligaments.

Loved the colours of these papers from Cosmo Cricket's Storytime collection.  I think the big piece of patterned paper was K and Company.  The little image is a stamp from Stampin up that I won in a raffle when I went to Hayleys. http://craftwithhayley.com/

On the water

Horray.  Finally we have had a sunny day without too much wind so we could get out on our new toy.  This is a photo of Gary with Plymouth in the background.

Chompy

We have finally bought a boat.  Nothing big and flash but enough for the two of us to have a bit of fun around the waters of Plymouth.

We have given a unit we bought in the late 90's a freshen up.  We gave it a quick sand where we were painting and put a little more work into the top before we waxed it.  The paint we used was Laura Ashleys eggshell in Ivory.  We also changed the handles but kept the same hinges.
