Canvas art

This is a canvas I made quite a while ago.  When I used to go to the Crafts 4 eternity crop, Michele gave us a canvas and some information on how to decorate it.  We all took one home and brought it back the following month painted.  I just slapped on some acrylic paint until I was happy with the colouring then added a bit of stamping, a quote I liked along with some bits I had around the house.  Originally I wanted to add sea glass but it looked a bit 'childs collage'!

Paisley Petals card pack

I have made this card pack using some papers and stamp set I have had for a while.  I really love these papers but have been keeping them instead of using them.

The stamped images are coloured in with copics.

Watercolour stamping

Happy birthday mum.  This is the card I made for her.  I used the watercolour stamping technique.

Water colour stamping

Carolyn from crafts by Carolyn put a link on the forum to some tutorials on how to use stamps to create water colour.

I have had a bit of a play using some woodware stamps and see D stamps.  I also used SU inks to water colour with.  Quite happy with the end result so might have a go at creating a little project.

My dad is 70

I'm sure he will be happy with me sharing his age. (Plus it is on the cake). We had a lovely time down at my parents on Sunday when he had a few friends around for a bit of a party.  Chelle was tasked with making his childhood favourite party food.  Bunnies in the lawn.  Dad had to eat it all as no one else likes blamange.  She also made the Pork Pie birthday cake.  It was lemon flavoured inside and absolutely wonderful.

Dales cake

Dale spends a lot of time climbing so I thought I would make him a climbing cake.  In an episode of The Big Bang Theory, one of the characters (Sheldon) faints when he is on a climbing wall so I made a little Sheldon in his Flash t-shirt.  He is on the other side of the cake but I didn't take a picture of that side.  Whoops!!  Any way he was really pleased with it.
